MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court (SC) announced on Friday, December 13casinwin, that 3,962 out of 10,490 examinees passed the 2024 Bar, resulting in a passing rate of 37.84%.
jackpot masterKyle Christian Tutor, a graduate of the University of the Philippines, topped the Bar exams. Tutor obtained a grade of 85.7700%.
This year's passing rate is higher than last year's 33.77% with 3,812 out of 10,387 passing the examinations.
The Supreme Court has adjusted the passing grade for the 2024 Bar exams to 74%, down from 75% last year.
The oath-taking and the roll signing ceremonies of successful Bar examinees will take place on Jan. 24, 2025.
The third digitalized Bar examinations were held on September 8, 11 and 15 in 13 testing centers across the country.
This year’s examinations covered the following six core subjects: Political and Public International Law (15%); Commercial and Taxation Laws (20%); Civil Law (20%); Labor Law and Social Legislation (10%); Criminal Law (10%); and Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises (25%). — Ian Laqui and Kristine Daguno-Bersamina
