SAN FELIPE, ZAMBALES — A father and daughter who went missing while swimming at a beach in this town were found dead, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) confirmed on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Reports from the PCG station in Zambales said Ardel Bugarin Veraña, 46, and his daughter, Devora Veraña, 19, both residents of San Narciso town, were reported missing after drowning in a beach in Barangay Sindol on Nov. 2.

Ardel was found along the shoreline that same day and was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.
A search for his daughter continued, and her body was recovered on Monday night.
